When we slow down enough to be able to take in info and to be able to reflect and digest it, we often feel more encouraged to take on the more daunting challenges in our lives. Not always easy, but necessary.
Fascinating, and I plan to read McCoy's book now. I feel that urgency to work at the local level, and have seen some positive results, since federal efforts (like CCL's mission to pass a CF&D bill) have not worked so far. Educating our electeds and the public who vote them in can be daunting, but essential. Patience, persistence, pressure from grassroots groups does matter, and it gives us some hope to carry on.

Great article btw!
Thanks! Correction reflected.
