This post is right on the money. Racism, imperialism and capitalism are the noxious cocktail that have baked warmongering into the very fabric of the nation.
When 40% of military spending in the world is made by one country, which then keep claiming everyone ELSE is a threat, well the problem is in the mirror.
It’s getting to the point now where the nation is literally consuming itself to wage war :
“ Biden’s debt deal: A bipartisan blueprint for war and austerity:
… In the manufactured showdown over the debt ceiling, Biden didn’t just blink; he set a political speed record for rapid eye movement.
+ Cutting future spending for poor people, sick people and children in order to pay the debts rung up by tax cuts for the rich and astronomical spending by the Pentagon. This is the gist of the deal Biden brokered with Kevin McCarthy…”
I don't think Patrick Mazza is explicitly pushing the "anti-imperialism of idiots" line (do a search...). But you raise a valuable point that needs to be made.
As the U.S. teeters on the edge of becoming like the "others" you name (internally undemocratic or even outright fascist), it is our obligation to challenge ourselves with the truths Patrick Mazza has laid out. Our "stability, security, quality of life, human freedom, civil liberties, equality, and a social/civil life" are truly grounded on the oppression (and sometimes even genocide) of many others, starting with the long term sustainable political economies of the indigenous people who were right here when Europeans "discovered" America. All those good things you list are not evenly shared or experienced by all "Americans."

I have decided to remove this message, partly for the tone of the sender as indicated in the response below.
